Frank Sepulveda

Data Architect @DataStax Frank Sepulveda is a geoscience Ph.D. candidate at Baylor University engaged in the development of Internet of Things (IoT) based sensor networks to orchestrate storage and computing resources that analyze seismic data, in a field setting (i.e., “the edge”).  In May, he joined DataStax as a Data Architect to support data-driven enterprises in their desire to achieve transformational data outcomes. Prior to joining DataStax, he was responsible for the development of emerging technologies within the energy industry for four years and he supported the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community for ten years in the development of bleeding-edge technologies for military and intelligence operations.

Time Series Data Management at Scale with Apache Cassandra™

An estimated 20 to 30 billion IoT devices will be connected to the Internet by 2020 and an innumerable number of sensors will be connected to those devices. Considering the continued expansion of the IoT market and the desire to become a data-driven enterprise and achieve ultimate customer experience, organizations are expanding their capability to acquire, store, and analyze time series data more than ever.

DataStax invites you to join this webinar and participate in a discussion regarding:

  • Common challenges encountered when working with time series data
  • How DataStax Enterprise (DSE), powered by Apache Cassandra™, is uniquely suited for time series data
  • A real-world, DSE enabled, use case that details the analysis of seismic data at “the edge”
